MaxPet began as a way of answering simple questions about Max, a small Havamalt with a sensitive stomach. Is he eating normally? Is he drinking more than usual? Did anyone give the tablet? Every pet owner asks them. Keeping the answers straight by hand turned out to be surprisingly hard.

Is MaxPet a diagnosis?

No. It is a record of what you see and log, turned into a picture your vet can read in a minute. It never diagnoses, and it is not a replacement for your vet.

Is it really free?

Yes, and it always will be. The app, the web version and the vet portal are free.

What does it run on?

iPhone, iPad and Android, plus a web app that works in any browser. Your data is the same in all of them.

Does my vet need an account?

No. You can print or show a summary at any appointment. If your clinic joins MaxVet they can open the record themselves when they treat your pet.

Where is my data?

In the UK, on infrastructure MaxPet Limited runs. You can export it or delete your account whenever you like. The Privacy Notice has the detail.
