MaxPet is for everyone who cares for a pet, and we want as many people as possible to be able to use it, whatever their abilities. This statement explains how accessible the MaxPet website and app are, and how to get in touch if something isn’t working for you.

1. What we aim for

We aim to meet the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and to design our app to Apple’s accessibility guidance. Accessibility is something we work at continuously rather than a box we tick once.

2. What we do

3. Where we know we can do better

We are a small team and MaxPet is developed actively, so some parts may not yet fully meet the standard we aim for — for example, a small number of charts and interactive elements may be harder to use with assistive technology, and some content loaded from third parties is outside our direct control. We are working to improve these, and we treat accessibility issues as things to fix, not to defend.

4. Ask for help or a different format

If you need information from MaxPet in a different format, or you’re finding something difficult to use, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to help.

5. Tell us about a problem

If you come across an accessibility barrier, we genuinely want to know. Email [email protected] with a description of the problem and the page or screen where you found it, and we’ll look into it and let you know what we can do.

6. Our commitment under the law

We are committed to not discriminating against disabled users and to making reasonable adjustments, in line with the Equality Act 2010. If you feel we have fallen short, please contact us first so we can put it right.
